Those buggers definitely dislike wild onions - much more than the conventional broomstraw, from my experience. Perhaps the fact that onion juice is an irritant factors into this methodology.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083340366169713282.post-92062820382304396892022-09-04T15:23:03.670-05:002022-09-04T15:23:03.670-05:00f0l13c8n67 w0n40d2j91 r8e74d9q01 b6r48s0h81 z6... f0l13c8n67 w0n40d2j91 r8e74d9q01 b6r48s0h81 z6d77j6s63 h5p26f3j01nokehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13761045836828096889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083340366169713282.post-18840899264102108082022-08-24T20:29:27.771-05:002022-08-24T20:29:27.771-05:00s9t37z6f34 g7t10t1d08 n4e13h2o89 o7j60t1k58 s1... s9t37z6f34 g7t10t1d08 n4e13h2o89 o7j60t1k58 s1a28t5v21 d4a23i7b32seknaezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05759771164483521931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083340366169713282.post-86456089623788935342021-04-10T09:33:41.462-05:002021-04-10T09:33:41.462-05:00I don’t know if you still read these comments, but...I don’t know if you still read these comments, but I want to say thank you for this great post. I was searching through google for what these bugs were actually called, and I found my answer through this post. When I was in 5th grade, my friends and I would go hunting for these worms with twigs during recess. We would call them “Camel Worms” because of the humps on their back. We would make them fight other Camel Worms or insects.Watermelon Louhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01947783521138107497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083340366169713282.post-29070951671044765732021-03-22T21:08:20.251-05:002021-03-22T21:08:20.251-05:00Usually the term doodlebug refers to an ant lion, ...Usually the term doodlebug refers to an ant lion, a completely different critter that lurks beneath the soil waiting for a meal to come along.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083340366169713282.post-85799415810491130562020-11-03T17:43:42.234-06:002020-11-03T17:43:42.234-06:00This was such a great read!
